Did Jesus Lie?
Jesus promised us freedom, rest, abundance, and the kind of peace that passes all understanding? Are you experiencing these promises?
We Have Been Lied to
We have been lied to, not by God, the Author of Truth, but by the enemy who has worked tirelessly to pervert the truth and deceive our hearts. Although some in the Religion of Christianity have slipped through the confusion with an understanding of the truth, many of us in the body of Christ have unwittingly been living in a religious deception that has perpetuated a search for spiritual completion rather than find the fulfillment God promised
Walk by faith
Stephen Villanueva dares you to experience what it means to walk by faith in the Spirit of God and experience oneness with Him believing that
Jesus is the Lord, and He is so good that everything He does and allows is an expression of HIs great love for us.
Although the primary audience for this book is those who identify themselves with the Christian faith—those who desire to have an in depth, abundant, and fulfilling personal relationship with Jesus Christ—this book is also for those who have observed Christianity from the outside and have been reluctant to believe based on the lives and behavior of those within the Christian community. Maybe you are one of those who has looked into the church to get a glimpse of love, and instead, found division, strife, condemnation, and self-righteous judgment. Maybe you have been friends with those who call on the name of Christ and yet their lives are filled with anxiety and fear instead of peace and rest. Please be willing to take another look. Although we, as Christians, have held truth within our hands, layers of wrong belief and unbelief have corrupted that truth. We Have Been Lied To: Tearing Down the Walls of Christian Wrong Belief and Unbelief is written to tear apart those layers and allow both believers and unbelievers to get a fresh look at what it means to walk by faith and walk in the Spirit of God.
I want to be very careful not to be misunderstood. In this book, I am not making a case for a special brand of Christianity that creates two classes of Christians. I deliver this message with a lot of passion and conviction; thus, I am aware that a reader can walk away with this perception, but it is not my heart. My passion is an expression of my love for God, His truth, and His people. I believe that walking by faith, under the total control of the Holy Spirit, is God’s desire for all of His children. In addition, it is not something that you “get” and then have forever. No! It is a belief system that must be maintained moment by moment, hour by hour, minute by minute, and thought by thought. It is a constant, life-long battle that is rife with enemies and all manners of lofty, arrogant, and self-serving ideas that are raised up against the true knowledge of Christ. My prayer is that, as you read this book, you will be open to discover the areas in which you have not only listened to but believed the lies of the enemy and now choose to believe the truth. Therefore, as you read, please continually ask God to reveal to you His truth and ask Him to help you in any area of unbelief.
